Applied Robotics incorporates in North America
Applied Robotics incorporates with a focus on the design and integration of robotic automation equipment. In its first year of operation, Applied Robotics launched the first robotic tool changer on the market. The unique design with its cam latching mechanism remains in use today.
Tecnomors and Applied Robotics establish a partnership
By partnering with Tecnomors, a recognized leader in pneumatic gripper technology, Applied Robotics strengthened its position as the premier name in end-of-arm tooling and Workholding solutions.
GRIP company acquired to add more vises to the product line

Effecto Group S.p.A. is established to bring all subsidiaries under one name
By 2017, all groups have fully merged with Effecto Group S.p.A. The group is committed to supporting a large customer base throughout the world.
Effecto GmbH is established in Munich
Effecto Group S.p.A. acquires PTM Präzisionstechnik GmbH, a former distributor of the company. As a result, a direct presence in the German automotive market is established and the company’s electric gripper line expands, and conveyor systems are added to the product line.
Effecto Group S.p.A. acquires business of servo-grippers
Company acquires the know-how of servo grippers from German based PTM Mechatronics.
